Zillow, US Real Estate Website will start posting Canadian homes
Zillow, US Real Estate Website will start posting Canadian homes through direct listing feed from Century 21 Canada.
This means that Canadian home listing will be exposed to the million of consumers who visit Zillow, US Real Estate Website every month, company said.
Seattle-based company announced its plan to feature Canadian real estate listings early period of this year. According to the latest release, this website expects to post Canadian home listings, that include those from The Century 21 Canada.
“We know that U.S. buyers are too much interested in buying Canadian real estate so we’re very excited to offer million of buyers who are coming to Zillow for search to get new house in easy way to see homes which are available for sale in Canada and helps to connect with an agent who will help out to navigate sale,” said Errol Samuelson, Zillow’s based Industry Development Officer.
Jack Miller, Chief Technology Officer at Century 21 Canada said that agreement will same as relationship Zillow has with Century 21 in U.S.
According to reports released in last year in a real estate industry magazine quoted that around 170 million people use Zillow.com and other major online real estate platforms in U.S. like Trulia.com, US Real Estate Website.
Listing by Zillow offers complete history of sales, including selling price of homes that Toronto Real Estate Board considers. Board is asking that Supreme Court of Canada is going to appeal latest legal decision which ruled out selling prices that could be released password-protected brokerage sites.
It is not clear that what a great role for Zillow means in Canadian real estate market.
Company maintains that this doesn’t compete with role of real estate agents. This website sells ads, not houses, on Zillow and mobile apps, a Zillow executive told Star in year 2016.
